Child & Family Centers of Excellence is a federally funded nonprofit organization based in Waukesha and serving families throughout the county.

As part of our Early Head Start team, your responsibilities will include:

Conducting weekly in-home visits with a caseload of families and their children (ages 0 to 3 years) on a year-round basis.

Working with families to develop an individualized curriculum for each child based on ongoing assessments.

Working with families to ensure that children’s health and nutrition needs are met.

Matching  families with community resources to help them reach those goals.

Visits are individualized according to each child’s developmental level and the family’s goals. Caseloads may also include pregnant women. In addition, family events are held approximately twice a month in the early evenings.

We require a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work or Child & Family Studies, along with experience and knowledge of infant and toddler development. A successful candidate must possess great interpersonal skills and flexibility. A valid WI driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Fluency in Spanish is a very valuable asset. Our current opening is in Washington County.
